3/15/18 Papadakis v. 1000 Park Owners Corp., et al.

Our client was the Board of a Co-op where work was being performed in one of the units. The plaintiff fell off a board and claimed serious injuries. We were able to defeat the Labor Law §240 claim and were able to get all but one code dismissed under the Labor Law §241 claim. The Court further found that our client could not be held liable as it did not direct, supervise or control the work. Therefore, our claims for indemnity against the General Contractor were granted.
