Ida Williams v. City of New York et. al.
In Williams, plaintiff alleged to have tripped and fallen over a defectively patched trench located in the roadway of Ralph Avenue, in Brooklyn. Plaintiff sued our client, A-1 Sewer and Watermain Contractors Corp., alleging that they created the trench that caused her fall.

At the close of discovery and after obtaining all the documentary proof of work done on the roadway, Peter Lopalo successfully moved for summary judgment by demonstrating that our client never performed work on Ralph Avenue prior to the date of the accident.
