On January 19, 2007, Kathleen Mulholland was a panelist at the annual meeting for the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (also known as “CPR Insititute”). Kathleen’s panel was entitled “The Role of Insurers in Mediation” and its primary focus was on the various insurance coverage issues that must be addressed before a catastrophic claim can be mediated. This included an evaluation of all policies that might be implicated as well as the role of primary and excess insurers in the mediation.
