Dismissal–Supreme Court, New York County
1/10/2008
Travers Jewelers v. 650 Fifth Avenue Corp. et. al
In Travers Jewelers, plaintiff claimed a loss of value of certain pieces of ivory as a result of a water leak in our client’s building. When the ivory was removed from the premises, it was placed in a storage locker. The plaintiff failed to pay rent on that storage locker and the ivory was confiscated. Kathleen M. Mulholland prevailed on a spoliation motion and the plaintiff’s complaint was dismissed.
